A reference for Alejandria,
The other one is too old and outdated. Time for a fresher one. You know... the last time I uploaded something relating to my Airuos was a long time ago! It feels so good to be able to draw airuos again. For those who are new to this girl right here, have a nutshell of back-info: Alejandria (Ah leh HAN dree ah), is the main protagonist of "The White over the Blue" (Work In Progress). She is an orphan who lives alone in The Big City of Nicadria, the biggest metropolis of the world of Nirvan. Her best friend, Rachelle, and she go through fun experience together as they live a pretty normal life in the city. from time to time, Alejandria meets bad guys, other airuos who are never up to any good; she, with her strength and agility "always puts the fire out." Some of the baddies are just a bunch of buffoons who crave to be noticed, others are excessively mad and want to take over the whole city, and few others are so malevolent that the word "evil" feels like too little to describe how dirty their souls are. The city of Nicadria is infested with angry airuos who are obsessed with hating; they always search for new excuses to breathe in some "Hate," but Alejandria's good heart and naiveness prevents her from being a rude, shrewish teenager like the rest of the airias (female airuos) around her. Her biggest ambition is not to get a doctorate on Psychology, but to simply become a mother. What stops her from achieving it is her young age, and the fact that the auruos (male airuos) in the city seem to be to freaked out at just how little discomfort she expresses in any given situation. That combined with those angel wings, and the third hand on the tip of her tail, makes the dudes run away from her side. The last thing to know about Alejandria is about the massive hair bang covering the left side of her face. Alejandria was born with an unnatural bright white left iris. She covers it with her hair because something that shiny could worth millions and millions. She feels very insecure if her left eye is on view of others. Enjoy! Alejandria, and The Airuos, belong to me. Comments
Gah, this reminds me, I still need to get your prize drawn. (OH NOOOOOOO!)
I like the updates to her look though and the fact that she looks less like a yoshi (you have to admit, airuos used to look quite a bit like yoshi's). Anyway, the slightly tired look she has seems to fit her personality quite well. I like the weapon "Blanca", although it's a little awkward look wise and probably fighting wise, it's the fact that it's design is somewhat original. The black suit like jacket also gives her a bit of a "professional hot" look. -- Captican of the Metalic Bloods Squadron Part of the Flying Cheethas Squadron I DON'T SUFFER FROM INSANITY! I enjoy every minute of it. I initially thought I had a foot fetish, but then I realized I didn't
KIDDING! I just got tired of that for reason. -- Hatred is nothing, but Poison. Poison for the soul, for you, and for anyone else. It makes you feel good, but it serves no one; for, it is just an invitation to kill, to win enemies, and to sink your soul into oblivion. Yoshis?!
I can't make much justice for the way used to draw airuos before anyways. contrary to popular belief, drawing the nose of an airuos is hard! I can see that I used to make the noses wider before, making them look circular. I guess that kinda explains the time you decided to draw me as a yoshi Don't worry, thanks for pointing me out that detail. The reason the weapon has bizarre bump in the middle is something that even Alejandria herself doesn't know, at all. The rod is ancient; she found it on a grave. -- Hatred is nothing, but Poison. Poison for the soul, for you, and for anyone else. It makes you feel good, but it serves no one; for, it is just an invitation to kill, to win enemies, and to sink your soul into oblivion. aww, she's cute! she's like a good version of me, but i don't hide my left eye, i just liked the emo-fringe, so i got it just like that
-- my cute, funky icon was made by the awesome *Hippie-Sammy Art trades: CLOSED (But that doesn't stop me from asking you!) Requests: CLOSED Commissions: OPEN! I had the exact same "Yoshi" problem with all of my characters for the longest time. No one really told me exactly why they looked like one so I had to make a whole bunch of minor changes to them over time, until eventually no one really brings up "Yoshi" around them anymore.
On top of everything though, Ix, Angela, and Beldima weren't directly influenced by anything. They just sorta popped up in my head and I threw up some sketches, and worked from there. :V |
